PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a known method for concentrating the healing factors found in your blood and applying them directly to injured or painful joints or tissues.  

Blood is drawn and spun to separate the red blood cells from the plasma. Within this "liquid gold" are the platelets, cytokines, and

PRP treatment can help support wound healing in trauma and joint injury.

Because the treatments use a patient’s own tissues, PRP injections are safe and can be administered alone or used in conjunction with other procedures such as stem cell therapy.

A PRP injection is a low-risk procedure and does not usually cause major side effects.
